1. Space Black colour fingerprint visibility
The Space Black anodisation shows fingerprints more than Silver. Cosmetic only — no functional issue. Microfibre cloth and avoid greasy fingers; some owners apply matte skins.
2. Battery life slightly less than M2 Pro
M3 Pro/Max chips draw slightly more power under load than M2 Pro/Max. Real-world battery: 12–15 hours typical, 8–10 under heavy use. Still excellent but if all-day battery matters most, M1/M2 Pro had a slight edge.
3. No widespread hardware failures yet
At 2 years of field data, the A2918 is genuinely reliable. We've seen far fewer warranty issues than the A2141 (Intel 16") or A2442 (M1 Pro 14"). Apple's M3 manufacturing run was a quality step up.
4. Cost-of-repair expectations (when something does break)
Screen (Liquid Retina XDR): PKR 48,000–62,000. Battery: PKR 18,000–22,000. Top-case keyboard: PKR 50,000–65,000. Logic board work is rare on A2918 but component-level repair available if needed.
