The 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro (M1 Pro through M4 Max) use a Liquid Retina XDR mini-LED display · 1000 nits sustained brightness, 1600 nits peak, ProMotion up to 120Hz and a local dimming system with 1,000–10,000 dimming zones depending on the model. Replacing this correctly means re-calibrating ProMotion, True Tone and the XDR brightness profile after the panel is fitted.
