    1. Touch Bar freezing (software, not hardware)

    The A2338 is the last Pro with a Touch Bar. Occasional freezing is almost always software: System Settings → General → Login Items → quit ControlStrip then it auto-restarts. Fixes 80% of Touch Bar issues.

    2. USB-C port wear

    Only 2 USB-C ports, both used heavily. After 3–4 years, the port that holds the charger loosens. Fix: port replacement PKR 6,000–10,000 same-day.

    3. Battery cycle count rising

    Most A2338s sold 2020–2021 are now at 800–1200 cycles. Capacity drops to 75–82%. Genuine battery swap PKR 16,000–20,000 with calibrated BMS.

    4. Sustained-workload throttling under load

    The single-fan Pro 13" M1 throttles less than the fanless Air but more than the Pro 14" M1 Pro. Heavy video render or Xcode users notice; typical users don't.
